To equip Africa and the diaspora with the most accurate health information on how to manage, treat, and prevent the most plaguing issues affecting our community.
PURPOSE
The intent of this magazine is to focus in detail on a pressing health issue, in a concise, engaging, and fun way. This mini magazine is supplemented with interviews from health experts, which further explicate the health information. This will hopefully aid in eliminating and/or reducing the barrier to accessible medical information due to rising costs and environment, by providing a tangible, low cost, and interactive alternative.
ABOUT ME
I’ve always had a passion for global health since I was a young child. I always knew that I would make an impact somehow within the beautiful continent of Africa; I just wasn’t sure how. Well, I believe this is a start. I’ve encountered stories of friends and family who’ve lost their mother, father, siblings, etc due to health causes that could have been prevented, or successfully managed to produce better outcomes. This deeply saddened me, and ignited a fire within my soul. I may not be able to help the entire world, but if I can help to improve the life of one person everyday, I would be grateful. The proceeds from the monthly subscription will help us give these away for free to those in need, and assist in other miraculous ways. So please, join us in increasing awareness.
